About

Warda — WardArtistry

A painting should do more than fill a wall. It should hold a feeling, awaken a memory and become part of the life unfolding around it.

There are feelings that resist words — and that is where I begin to paint. Through layers of acrylics, oils and oil pastels, I bring together expressive colour, intricate patterns and tactile textures. Each surface is designed to reveal itself slowly — through an unexpected colour, a quiet symbol or a detail waiting to be discovered.

My visual language has been shaped by movement — from Pakistan to Canada and now the UAE. Landscapes, cultures and memories meet within my work as I explore the human experience, migration, identity and belonging. Although these paintings emerge from personal experiences, they speak to something shared: the ways we remain deeply connected despite our different journeys.

My artistic journey began in my teenage years — studying at the National College of Arts in Lahore, continuing through Digital Media in Canada and a dedicated mastery programme in painting. My work has been exhibited internationally and has found its way into private collections, collaborations with interior designers and bespoke commissions for companies and homes.
