Each Copper Sun is sculpted and crafted with greatest care and attention. Made from high grade 16oz sheet copper, all feature four mounting bars brazed on the backside for flush and even wall mounting. Extra attention is given to strength and integrity, as a circular copper ring is brazed around the back perimeter both onto the sun center and rays, and onto the four mounting bars. This addition makes these pieces of art not only stunning artistically, but very strong.
Copper is an amazing metal, and will last for generations.
You can request your piece to be sealed with a crystal clear enamel coat to lock the copper and torch painted tones in, or leave untreated to allow a beautiful Patina to develop over time.
